Apple Pancakes:
A little bit of sweet for your breakfast, great for brunch, at home we even serve this for dinner when the “cook” gets lazy!
INGREDIENTS ( Apple Pancakes ) :
3 tbsp. | butter or margarine | 45 mL |
4 | apples, pared and sliced | 4 |
1/4 cup | sugar, brown or white | 60 mL |
1 tsp. | cinnamon | 5 mL |
1 cup | milk | 250 mL |
6 | eggs | 6 |
1 cup | flour | 250 mL |
2 tsp. | white sugar | 10 mL |
1/2 tsp. | salt | 2 mL |
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a 10” (25 cm), ovenproof pan, melt Add apples, sugar and cinnamon and cook on the top of the stove until the apples are soft, about five minutes. Taste for sweetness.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Cut the pancake in wedges and serve from the pan. Serve with maple syrup, sour cream or ice cream. This is also good on its own.
NOTE
For a thinner pancake, halve the ingredients for the batter but bake in the same-size pan. Reduce baking time by five minutes.
